The Classical Model
A classical guitar shaped by the spirit of Latin America
The Model C draws inspiration from the rich musical heritage of Latin America — not through imitation, but through a search for warmth, rhythm, and expressive depth.
While rooted in the tradition of the classical guitar, the instrument introduces a subtle structural refinement. The body is built approximately ten percent wider than a traditional classical form, allowing the bass frequencies to develop with greater presence and resonance.
The result is a deeper, rounder tonal spectrum that supports both lyrical melodies and vibrant rhythmic playing. Familiar in spirit, yet quietly expanded in voice, the Model C is designed to accompany the expressive language of the guitarist with clarity, warmth, and character.
Materials & Construction
The soundboard is crafted from carefully selected German spruce, chosen for its clarity, projection, and dynamic responsiveness.
The back, sides, bridge, and fingerboard are built from wenge, an African hardwood valued for its density, tonal focus, and understated elegance. Its stability and mass contribute to a grounded and articulate voice.
The mahogany neck provides balance and long-term structural reliability, reinforced internally with carbon fibre to protect the instrument against humidity changes and ensure consistent playability over time.
The body is finished using traditional French polish, applied in thin layers of shellac to preserve resonance while revealing depth and colour in the wood. The neck and fingerboard are oil-finished for a smooth, natural touch.
